the capital of Ukraine, is often called "The Mother of Russian
Cities". It was founded in the 9th century and is a city of
contrasts. Today it represents a major cultural, scientific and
industrial center.
Day 1: Arrival and private transfer
to the hotel of your choice. Check-in and accommodation. Rest of
day at leisure.
Day 2:  After
breakfast enjoy a city sightseeing tour including all major sights
and places of interest. Visit St. Sophia Cathedral, with its unique
collection of fescues and mosaics, and tour Kiev Pecherskaya Lavra
Monastery,-the first Christian monastery dating back to the 11th
century. Enjoy the evening at the authentic Ukrainian restaurant.
Day 3: After breakfast take a picturesque
boat trip on the Dnieper River (in season, depending on weather)
or visit the Memorial Museum, topped by the gigantic steel statue
called Mother Russia. Check-out and private transfer to airport
or train station for departure.

much of the culture and many of the traditions of these people originate.
Travel with us through the heart of Jewish Heritage.
 Day
1: Arrival in Kiev ancient capital of Kievan Rus, founded
more than 1,000 years ago. Private transfer to your hotel. Rest
of day at leisure.
Day 2: Enjoy a city sightseeing tour
including all major sights and places of interest. Visit the gold-domed
Cathedral of St. Sophia, and tour Kiev Pecherskaya Lavra Monastery,
with its mummified bodies of monks. Enjoy a folklore performance
in the evening.
Day 3: The entire day will be spent
visiting the cities of Zhitomir and Berdichev, two of the
true centers of Jewish Heritage.
Day 4: This morning pay a somber visit
to Baby Yar, a memorial to the 100,000 victims of Nazis executions
during World War II. Also visit a synagogue. Early evening departure
for Odessa by overnight first-class train.
Day 5: Morning arrival in Odessa,
called "Pearl of the Black Sea", a modern city as well
as a major seaside resort. Transfer to your hotel. City sightseeing
tour in the afternoon.
Day 6: Morning visit to the Archeological
Museum, featuring artifacts of the northern
Black Sea coast from ancient Greece through the 13th century. The
afternoon is spent visiting a synagogue and Jewish cemetery. Evening
performance at the Opera House, one of the most beautiful and acoustically
perfect in the world. (Note: During off-season the Opera House is
closed and a Gala Dinner will be arranged.)
Day 7: End of tour. Private departure
transfer.
