INTERNATIONAL AIR TRANSPORTATION
- By your preferred International Air carrier in economy class
across the Atlantic or Pacific. Upgrading to Business or First Class is
available for additional payment.
OTHER TRANSPORTATION - By first class motorcoach
or private car in each city and by airplane, train or ship between cities
as indicated in the day-by-day itinerary.
HOTELS - Double/twin rooms with private
bath or shower in first class and superior tourist class hotels throughout
the programs. Single room accommodations may be available at additional
cost. Cruises in standard ship cabins.
MEALS - Meals are included as indicated
in the day-by-day itinerary.
ITINERARY - Every effort will be made to
adhere to the itinerary as stated in the day-by-day program. INTOURIST
USA, INC. as well as other foreign hosting organizations, reserves the
right to change the itinerary for reasons beyond the operators and/or
airlines' control, or as otherwise deemed necessary for the best handling
of the tour.
BAGGAGE - Each person is allowed two free
bags, size and width of which will be determined by the regulations of
your preferred airline.
PRICES - Based on IATA air tariffs on January
1, 2005. Land prices are those in effect when this brochure was printed.
All prices in this brochure are subject to change without prior notice.
RESERVATIONS - Ask your Travel Agent to call INTOURIST USA, INC. A deposit of $250 per person is required at the time of booking, - before actual reservations of hotels, flights, rail, tours, etc. Booking will be processed only upon receipt of deposit. There is an $85.00 booking fee to be charged for each booking. This is for the entire party, not per person. In case of cancellation, the booking fee is never refundable. All reservations received less than 30 days prior the passenger's departure from the U.S.A. will be considered rush reservations. In case of a rush booking, there might be other additional charges (e.g. overnight delivery, long distance phone calls, etc.). All these charges will always be itemized. Our standard booking fee covers the cost of a regular mailing of documents. All given Quotes represent an approximate estimate of travel services only. All prices, rates and fares are subject to confirmation. All rates are subject to change without prior notice.
CANCELLATIONS - All cancellations must be
made in writing. The date of the cancellation shall be the date when the
written notice is received by INTOURIST USA. All cancellation rules will
apply even if the authorities deny the visa. It is strongly recommended
that the passengers purchase separate cancellation insurance to protect
themselves against possible losses due to their own decision to cancel.
$150 is subject to forfeiture if any changes or cancellations occur after
the International Air ticket has been issued. This excludes Business and
First Class travel. All cancellations are subject to a $50 service and
administrative charge per person. Additionally, all cancellations received
46-60 days before departure will be assessed at 10% of the tour cost;
31-45 days before the departure will be assessed at 25% of the tour cost;
16-30 days at 50%; 10-15 days at 65%; 5-9 days at 75%; 2-4 days before
departure will be assessed at 85%, and no refund will be made within the
last 48 hours prior to the departure. After departures, all requested,
confirmed and prepaid hotel accommodations, air, transportation and bus
tickets, transfers, tours, sightseeing, excursions, theater/opera/ballet/circus/sports
events or other special events tickets are absolutely non-refundable if
not used by the passenger during the trip. The passenger(s) may modify
the confirmed itinerary during the tour. In the event these modifications
will create new or additional expenses, the passenger must settle these
expenses personally on the spot with local authorities. In the event of
the unforeseen or force majeure situation, passenger(s) will be forced
to cancel confirmed services and will not use it, he/she must settle all
refund requests on the spot with local authorities either in cash or in
the form of an official certified refund document.
INTOURIST USA, INC. is authorized to refund
any unused services only upon presentation of the official document. Booking
fees and issued visas are never refundable.
CHANGE FEE - An administrative fee of $25
per person will be charged for each change or amendment to the original
reservation (e.g., change of name, hotel, dates, duration, etc.) if requested
after INTOURIST USA has issued the written confirmation, quote or invoice.
TOUR OPERATOR CANCELLATION - INTOURIST USA
reserves the right to cancel any departure of scheduled tours if the minimum
group size, has not been reached, as required by foreign operators, in
such cases, INTOURIST USA will limit its liability only to refunding all
moneys received for the departure, and cannot be considered responsible
for any inconvenience to the passengers.
ITEMS NOT INCLUDED: Cost of Personal passport;
Insurance; Transfers in land only; Visa; Excess baggage charges; Items
of personal nature (such as laundry, food or drinks, which are not part
of the regular menus); Telephone charges; Room service; USA departure
tax; Any possible airport security charge (if levied by the airlines);
other items not specified as being included.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED - Each passenger must be in possession of a valid passport and a proper visa. A valid passport and a properly issued visa are the responsibility of a passenger. INTOURIST USA will obtain the visas for each passenger for an additional fee, upon request.
RESPONSIBILITIES - A) Each exchange
order coupon, or ticket is to be regarded as contracted by or on behalf
of the particular company or person named in it. All exchange orders,
coupons and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions under
which such means of transportation, accommodations and other services
are offered and provided. The issuance and acceptance of such tickets
shall be deemed to be consent to further conditions.
B) INTOURIST - USA, the tour operator, acts only as an agent for
various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of transportation,
accommodations, delivering and other services pertaining to the tour.
The tour operator, other sponsoring organizations and/or any operator
shall not be considered in any way liable for injury, damage, loss, accident,
delay or irregularity anywhere beginning from reservation procedures and
through the entire tour or in any vehicle, or through the act of default
of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers, or of any
hotel proprietor, personnel or servant or any other person otherwise in
connection herewith.
C) The airlines, ship, train and bus companies are not held responsible
for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board
the plane or conveyance. The passage contract, in use by the airlines
concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the
airlines, bus companies and the purchaser of these tours and/or the passengers.
D) Passenger warrants, covenants and represents that no action
will be filed by Passenger (including Passenger's heirs, legal representatives,
successors, travel agent and assigns) against Tour Operator as a result
of any event or condition occurring or failing to occur at any time during
booking period and the tour and caused by or relating to: any governmental
agency; any provider of travel, lodging, entertainment, meals, tours or
amenities, or any other person, company or entity; any defective condition
not actually known by and not under the direct control of Tour Operator;
and any adverse conditions associated with the Millennium (Y2K). The sole
responsibility of INTOURIST USA shall be to arrange for the services and/or
goods described herein. In no event shall the liability of the Tour Operator
exceed the amount paid by the Passenger to INTOURIST USA. Should any action
be filed by or on behalf of passenger, whether or not authorized hereunder,
jurisdiction and venue shall lie in Palm Beach County, Florida and the
action shall be governed by Florida law. With respect to any action improperly
filed, passenger, his travel agent or assigns shall pay all of INTOURIST
USA's attorney's fees, costs, travel and lodging expenses for its attorneys
and principals.
A deposit payment and/or payment in full, where requested, for any tour
or travel on this site shall constitute consent to all General Conditions
as published.
