Day 1: Arrival and private transfer to your hotel. Rest of day at leisure.
Day 2: Enjoy a city sightseeing tour including all major sights and places of interest. In the afternoon visit to the Winter Palace and Hermitage Museum, perhaps the world's most splendid depository of artistic masterpieces. Evening Mariinsky Theatre performance (in season) or other cultural performance.
Day 3: Morning excursion to Petrodvorets, lavish summer palace of Peter the Great. Afternoon tour of the Russian Museum that contains a remarkable collection of Russian applied art, paintings and icons.
Day 4: Transfer to airport and departure.

Day 1: After boarding the very early Finnish “Sibelius” train from Helsinki you will enjoy breakfast. Upon arrival in the "Venice of the North", the orientation tour takes you to the Bronze Horseman, Admiralty, Nevski Prospekt and Palace Square. On Palace Square you will admire the harmonious unity of St. Petersburg. The architects of the city gave colors an essential role in their plans and this magnificent Russian city owes much of its special atmosphere to these painted façades. The tour continues to the very roots of St. Petersburg-Peter and Paul Fortress, which has become the chief monument to its founder’s reign. Day 2: After the breakfast the day begins with an excursion to the Hermitage. The Hermitage was established in the year 1764, as Catherine II bought paintings made by famous Dutch painters.
