Day 1: Arrive Moscow - After landing, transfer by a private car to hotel of your choice. Check-in and free afternoon ................................. B
Day 2-4: Moscow - Starting with a comprehensive sightseeing tour of the city of Moscow, the capital of Russia. You will see Red Square, the Cathedral of St. Basil, Lenin's Mausoleum and GUM, the largest department store in Russia. You continue to the Sparrow Hills where Lomonosov's Moscow State University is located, then return to Zaryadye, an "open-air museum" of architecture. En route you will see a segment of the old Kitai Gorod Town Wall, and finally the world famous Bolshoi Theatre. A visit to the State Tretyakov Gallery is also included in the program, showing you the whole history of Russian art. Later you will participate in the escorted Metro Excursion and finish your day with a walking/shopping tour on the famous Arbat Street. During your stay in Moscow you will enter the Kremlin grounds, the most ancient part of the city, visit the Armory Museum, the famous Kremlin's cathedrals, and see the world's largest cannon and bell. One evening your guide will take you to the circus. On your last day in Moscow after Gala dinner with folklore show, transfer to the railway station and departure to St. Petersburg on the legendary overnight express train, the "Red Arrow" ........... Day 5-7: St. Petersburg - Morning arrival, private transfer and check-in to the hotel of your choice. During your sightseeing tour you will see such world famous sights as The Hermitage Museum, the Admiralty, Peter-and-Paul Fortress, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Palace Square, Mariinsky Theatre, Nevsky Prospect, statues and monuments to the city's heroism during its 900-day siege. Visit The Hermitage Museum the treasure house of fine and applied arts, housing almost three million exhibits and Winter Palace former residence of Russian czars. Tour inside the Peter-and-Paul Fortress, an outstanding architectural monument and the burial place of Russian Romanov czars, is also included in your tour. We will also arrange one out-of-town excursion to Petergoff - the Summer Palace of the Russian czar Peter the Great ....................................................... B
