ALEXEY N. MESIATSEV
Intourist USA, America's Russia Expert,
inaugurates an exciting, creative &
comprehensive new travel website
Offers a Complete & Up-To-Date Overview of
The Tour Operator's Products, Services & Destinations
(Lake Worth, Florida, May 1, 2001) - "We are absolutely
delighted with our new site, which we just introduced on the web,
" said Alexey Mesiatsev, president of INTOURIST USA,
the Florida-based tour operator, known worldwide for its Russia
and Eastern Europe travel programs for more than seven decades.
"Now with one simple click of the icon, travel agents see and
hear the company's full range of products and services. It's about
as detailed and informative a travel-oriented website as you will
find anywhere. From study and special interest tours to insurance
coverage and booking forms, we don't miss a trick."
To demonstrate what he preached, Mesiatsev logged onto the new
website, designed by two exceptionally talented web designers, Lina
Nikolsky and Tatyana Zapadinskaya of 'LinaDesign Studio', Miami,
one of the foremost web design firms in the industry today. There
with the aid of animation, appropriate musical interludes and colorful
images, he reviewed INTOURIST USA's programs for this Millennium
Year.
The site contains 16 segments, spread over 30 pages, and goes half
way around the globe - to all the countries and regions, to which
INTOURIST USA provides services. For example, the segment
on Europe offers tours to Ukraine, the Baltic, Poland, Central Europe,
Scandinavia and Finland. The segment covering Asia details tours
to China and Mongolia.
Under 'Special Interest Tours,' another extensive listing,
agents can learn about the extensive array of programs INTOURIST
USA has created in this area. Sports, hunting & fishing
tours; hot air balloon trips; 'survivor' outings and trekking expeditions;
health resort visits; Intensive Russian language seminars and classes;
explorations of both the mysterious Arctic and Antarctic regions
aboard a Russian icebreaker; and that is just the tip of the iceberg,
if you'll pardon the pun!
Famous for its tours on the legendary Trans-Siberian Express between
Moscow and Vladivostok (with extensions to Beijing or Ulaanbaatar),
INTOURIST USA operates a far-flung network of train travel
throughout Russia, the republics of the Commonwealth, Central &
Eastern Europe, as well as throughout Asia.
There is detailed information about study tours, including itineraries,
prices, tour features, airlines and other pertinent information.
Under the heading of 'Individual Travel,' agents and clients can
review and compare hotel pricelists and learn about special hotel
packages or home stays with Russian families. The 'Cruise' category
shows a full range of cruises between Moscow and St. Petersburg
and on Russia's great waterways.
"Two of our most popular web pages," Mesiatsev added,
"are the 'New Offers' and 'News' pages. I recommend that, if
they look at nothing else, agents log onto these two sites. On them,
they will learn about our newest tour programs, special promotions
and other up-to-the-minute news of interest to the travel community.
Incidentally, we also make bookings easy. A convenient, easy-to-fill-out
form is just a click away." As an afterthought, Mesiatsev remarked,
"Of course, for agents, who like a 'hands on' experience, we
still distribute 'hard' copies of our annual brochure."
The new and constantly updated website of INTOURIST USA
was created to serve the needs of the public, the industry and,
of course, travel agents and tour operators everywhere in this country.
INTOURIST USA is as close as a phone, a FAX or the Internet.

Tour Operator Also Offers Popular Programs to Finland, Scandinavia,
Poland, China & Mongolia
(Lake Worth, Florida, January 1, 2001) - The new INTOURIST
USA brochure is a collection of both traditional best
selling tours, and some exciting new additions that will pique the
interest of novice and veteran travelers wishing to further explore
all the intriguing destinations INTOURIST
USA has to offer.
"For the more traditional or first time tourist, INTOURIST
USA offers a number of informative tours that give an exciting
introduction to Russia and her neighbors", said Alexey N.
Mesiatsev, president of INTOURIST USA. "Our Intourist Express
tour, a 9-day/8-night tour visiting Moscow & St. Petersburg
is available all year long and has weekly guaranteed departures.
This immensely popular tour showcases the best of Moscow & St.
Petersburg and is priced as low as $1,499 per person, double occupancy
(on New York departures).
This year there are more choices than ever. For example, last year
we scheduled only one ship on our popular Volga River Cruises, while
this year we give you more departures than ever with our fleet of
nine ships! In addition, we are now proud to offer boat service
from Vladivostok, Russia to Fushiki, Japan.
Since Russia signifies art, music, and culture, INTOURIST USA
has included a wide range of art and cultural options. Tours highlight
visits to the Tretyakov Art Gallery and Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts
in Moscow, the Hermitage and Russian Museum in St.Petersburg, as
well as evenings at the world-famous Bolshoi Ballet & Opera
in Moscow and the Kirov and Mariinsky Ballet and Opera companies
in St. Petersburg.
"Another popular program", Mesiatsev said, "is the
Trans-Siberian train and optional Lake Baikal tour. Americans have
a fascination with this train, and having experienced it myself,
I can understand why." A 7-day trip, 5,810 miles in length
and seven time zones from Moscow, this journey can be made straight
through or with pre-arranged stops en route at any of the cities
along the way. From Irkutsk, passengers can also make connections
for Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia, while China bound tourists can branch
off in Chita for Beijing. Both soft and hard class accommodations
are available.
As in the past years, INTOURIST USA has a tremendous selection
of special interest and adventure tours, which can be customized
to a client's particular requirements and budget. We can, as always
before, arrange your travel to "White Nights" in mid-June
in St. Petersburg or "Russian Winter" Art Festival at
years end in Moscow.
There are yet more options. "People always associate us first
with Russia and the C.I.S.", said Mesiatsev, "But in fact
we offer much more than that. We offer fabulous tours of Finland,
which explore this scenic "Land of the Midnight Sun",
as well as tours to Poland and Scandinavia. The 9-day Poland program
tours Warsaw, Czestochowa, Zakopane, Auschwitz, and Krakow and is
priced from $779 per person, twin, for land only.
From the beginning, the special priority of INTOURIST USA
has always been to provide exceptional service to clients and agents
alike. Thanks to the decades long experience of working with and
providing services for foreign tourists both in Russia & the
C.I.S. countries, and all the INTOURIST destinations offered,
INTOURIST USA is the leader in terms of the volume and quality
of the services provided, and as an international level tour operator
abroad.
