Helsinki, the capital of Finland. The beginning of the new millennium brings a double reason to visit Helsinki. It will be both marking its own 450th anniversary and basking in the world limelight as one of the European Cities of Culture. Helsinki and its culture have been shaped by influences from both West and East. The sea and islands are important components of the city center’s expression. All in all, there are 315 islands off the 62-miles shoreline and the proximity of the sea nearly everywhere provides a wonderful range of recreational amenities.

Day 1 - Arrival and private transfer to hotel of your choice. Check-in and accommodation. Afternoon guided City tour of Helsinki.
Day 2 - After the breakfast at the hotel morning tour to Porvoo-an idyllic, old, charming town with well-preserved wooden houses. You will enjoy the visit to Porvoo Old Church, Town Hall Square, delightful little shops and craftsmen’s old workshops.
Day 3 - Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and private transfer to airport or train station for departure.

The program is land only. Prices are per person unless otherwise indicated and include breakfast daily; transfers with the car only; all excursions by private car with driver and personal English-speaking guide; entrance fees as indicated. Additional nights are available. Order of the tours may be changed. Tour can be combined with tours to Tallinn, St. Petersburg or any other destination with transportation between the cities. There is a one-time reservation fee of $45. Optional: tour to Hvittrask, Suomelinna excursion, Seurasaari Open-Air Museum and other.

Day 1 - Arrival in Helsinki. Accommodation in Scandic Hotel Continental Helsinki which overlooks Finlandia Hall and the beautiful Hesperia Park and Töölönlahti Bay.
Day 2 - Breakfast at hotel. Pick-up at 9.15 at Scandic Hotel Continental for sightseeing tour of Helsinki. It will take you to the most important and interesting parts of Helsinki, such as the historical centre and the Senate Square, the diplomatic quarters, the Presidential Palace, City Hall, the Parliament building, Finlandia Hall and the Opera House. The bus stops at Sibelius Monument and, when possible, at the Temppeliaukio Church.
The rest of the day at leisure.
Day 3 - Breakfast at hotel and excursion to the idyllic town of Porvoo, Finland second oldest city dating from 1346. Departure at 12.30am from Esplanade Park/Fabianinkatu. Return to Helsinki.
Day 4 - Helsinki to Turku: After the breakfast, departure by train from Helsinki to medieval Turku, Finland’s oldest town and former capital. Arrive in Turku and transfer to the nearby town of Naantali dating from 1443 where you will stay at the Naantali Spa, the most modern and up-to-date health spa in Scandinavia located by the sea on a small cape.
Day 5: - After breakfast enjoy the Turku Card for one day. Holders´ of the Turku Card will get the city sightseeing tour for a discounted price (approx. 50% off), a visit to the Cathedral and Castle are included in the tour. The card also offers discounts at shops and restaurants, free entrance to museums, transportation, etc.
Day 6 - Turku to Stockholm:In the evening depart for Stockholm by Silja Line Baltic Cruise. Enjoy excellent dining and entertainment on board of a magnificent cruise ship.
Day 7 - Arrival in Stockholm. Stay at the Scandic Sergel Plaza, a centrally located hotel. The Restaurant Anna Bella joining with two separate dining rooms offers classic and new gourmet cuisine. Separate Relax and Spa department.
Day 8 - Breakfast at hotel. Departure Stockholm.
